A lol-cow is a victim of a flame war who can't help but be milked for lols time and time again. They have a compulsive need to give up as many laughs as possible at their own expense despite themselves.
A good Flame Warrior can turn even the most dignified poster into a lol-cow, dehumanizing them every step of the way. For some unknown reason, the lol-cow cannot break the cycle and regain their humanity.
I wish I could stop checking this forum topic, but the lol cows come back time and time again to be milked.

The use of LOL via email/SMS/Facebook/Twitter etc all the time no matter if it's in context or not - So serious that the user doesn't even know they use it.
All these show LOL Syndrome -
Facebook status - Joe is having a drink LOL
Email - How are you? LOL
SMS - I'm not too bad, had a car accident LOL
Twitter - Why are there so many adverts LOL

Reason for doing things with no purpose; synonymous with shits and giggles.
lols has been substituted for those who are too lazy to type the full word, giggles or for those who have spent too much time playing computer games that lol is the only term they can think of when thinking of laughter.

"perma-lol" is the word which is used for something which keeps someone "LOLing" (laughing out loud) for a long period of time continuously.

An interweb sensation, it is the term for silly pictures of cats with subtitles. They are generally characterized by poor spelling and grammar, and for unknown reasons, tend to mention cheese burgers often.
One reason for this may be that the (rumored) first lolcat ever said "I can has Cheezburger?"
