Last night I was so desperate, I had to give her the Sales talk
To strike up a useless and aggravatingly long conversation. Originates from the talk initiated by a Trader Joe's cashier with a customer.
Martha, the Trader Joe's cashier, decided to Joe Talk me while I was trying to pay for my mint chip ice cream. She spent the next seven minutes trying to figure out if we could figure out how long it would take to hand churn ice cream together. The customers behind me were now all petrified by the ideas of how Martha would Joe Talk them.
Stalker Talking is when someone, who you usually don't really know, strikes up an unwanted, meaningless, uncomfortable conversation with you everytime they see you.
