Guy:2 sorry mate but they just cancelled the show after 17 episodes
Guy:1 so means its a one season wonder

A one season wonder is when a show is incredible, but it only has one season. Either season 2 was canceled, or the show starts and finishes with one season.
Dan: "Dude, did you watch "Turtle Wars?"
Kevin: "Yeah, it was a one season wonder."
