The quickest way to maximize your current program when using windows. (without using your mouse). Microsoft chose to not include a two-key shortcut for this basic, oft-used function, so this is the next best thing.

ALT+X

Keyboard shortcut used to convert strings to Unicode characters

To type a Unicode character, type a string of numbers and letters (for example: 02C6), then press ALT+X to convert the string to the specified character.
