BARK BARK WOOF GRRR

Mainly used on twitter, reddit, and tiktok. From what I've seen and is just referred to as "barking" not to be confused with the term "bork" which originates from a meme.
The words are pronounced as they are read instead of actually barking like a dog.

It may originate from a copypasta, a meme, or something along those lines although the true origin is unknown.
The latest I can find of someone barking online with this context is from November 2020.

It may be used in the following ways:

1. Whenever you see someone attractive (not necessarily in a sexual way) or someone you like a lot (not a form of catcalling)

2. Because you want to annoy someone with your barking

3. Whenever you run out of words to say

4. Whenever someone says something you don't like

5. Whenever you don't like someone

6. Because it's fun

This form of barking is mainly used via text, but it could also be used in person as it has been a trend for women to bark at men who are catcalling them.

I've seen it grow in popularity among certain fandoms and or communities just for fun.
