bed rotting is a depression trait where you stay in bed for days; weeks even. its not ‘watching tiktok and netflix’ its starving laying in bed for hours and days and weeks while garbage and bugs lay on the floor because you can’t physically make yourself get up

My favorite hobby, real bed rotting when you lay in bed and rot in your depression, sometimes on your phone, watching tv, or my personal favorite combo, listening to music and staring at the ceiling reflecting on your thoughts. Bed rotting goes on hour hours to weeks usually.
Person: What have you been up to?
Me: oh you know the usual just bed rotting 🎀
When you just stay in bed for days without showering, minimal eating and usually ignoring everyone. just laying in bed and thinking about how your day is wasting away.
