Bid Snipe

Bidding on an eBay item minutes or even seconds before the bidding ends, usually only a small amount above the current bid. This bidding method is recommended when there is quite a number of bids already placed on the item.

Joe: Hey Fred! Did you manage to get that bike off eBay?

Fred: Nar man... I was bid sniped. But that figures, there was like 20 people bidding on it
