biddie

A biddie, while difficult to define accurately while avoiding confusion, is a college age female who falls under some, most, or all of these descriptions.

-often short/petite
-gullible, easily tricked
-wears spandex pants, a miniskirt barely covering the vag, or anything from American Apparel
-footwear consists of Uggs, boots with fur on them, heels, or some combination of the three
-enjoys Biddie Songs (Low by Flo Rida ft. T-pain, Shake That by Eminem ft. Nate Dogg, etc)
-at least 80% of their facebook pictures would render them unemployable if leaked
-does not remember the last weekend that did not involve a hangover
-the couches in the G street basement are equivalent to a 5-Star Resort
-dreams of being a woman from Desperate Housewives
-Smirnoff Ice = ideal pregame
-"so what's your major?" is absolutely a legit pickup line
-wakes up in weird places
-the purpose of the bathroom/kitchen sink is obviously as a courtesy for you when you get sick
-resides in the Burlington, VT area during the academic semester

Biddie

1. In generic usage, the female counterpart of a bro. Where a bro is overly male, overly stupid, and often intoxicated, the biddie is overly female, overly stupid, and often intoxicated. May connote a distorted fashion sense, sense of direction, and/or sense of time. Pejorative (what a biddy!) but can also be used in a friendly context.

2. A potential for sex. This usage emphasizes the positive aspects of femininity (being hot, being available) and does not always (but can) encompass the more pejorative connotations of the word.

3. A total mess. This usage emphasizes the pejorative aspects (falling over, poorly/sluttily dressed, drunk) and does not always (but can) encompass the more complimentary connotations of the word.

4. Also, anyone who goes to American University in DC.

1. Look at those biddies with their little black dresses. They're a hot mess.

2. Yeah, I wanna take *that* biddy home tonight.

3. Hahaha, those biddies are trying to swipe into the dorm with their credit cards.

biddy

"Biddy" is actually a very interesting word because it has two separate origins, both fairly well-documented, which is unusual for a slang term. The primary meaning of "biddy" is "chicken," and it first appeared in the early 17th century. The word probably came from the nonsense syllables used to call chickens -- something like "here biddybiddybiddy," I suppose. By the late 18th century "biddy" had been adopted as a derogatory slang term for women, much in the same unfortunate way that "chick" was in the 1960's.

However, "biddy" in this sense might have died a welcome death had it not been for the influx of Irish immigrants into the U.S. in the early 19th century. Young Irish women often had their passage paid by upper-class American families, for whom they would then work as domestic servants while they paid off their debt. The practice was so widespread that such women came to be known as "Biddies," from a shortening of "Bridget," a common Irish women's name. This use of "biddie" reinvigorated the word, and ever since it has been employed by insolent children to torment their elders.
Sometime in the last 20 years or so, the term was recycled to mean a woman of any age. The connotation may exemplify the earliest expression synonymous with the concept now known as MILF.

biddy

In Australia a biddy is a two-for-one McDonald's voucher. It usually entitles the bearer to enjoy two delicious Big Macs for the price of one, but can apply to other items, such as fries and cheeseburgers.

Hey Cletis, some man in the street gave me a biddy! Looks like the whole family will be eating tonight!
