Starting third baseman for the Boston Red Sox.
He began his career with the Giants (1996-2000) was traded to the Cubs (2001-2002) played again for the Giants in September 2002, and then has been with the pRed Sox ever since (2003-Present)
He has a career .292 batting average with 72 home runs, one less than Barry Bonds hit in a single year.
He has hit 31 of his 72 career home runs in the last two years with 19 in 2003 and 12 in 2004 (in only about 100 games)
Another similar player is Mark Loretta
Bill Mueller is my favorite baseball player. He reminds me of Wade Boggs with a bit less less batting average and a bit more power.
If he keeps hitting like he did in 2003 for 5-6 more years maybe he'll have an outside chance at the HOF
