Blow the Clown

While this phrase often has sexual and/or circus related meanings, it is often cited in some parts of the country as having to blow into a breathalyzer to measure blood alcohol content after a traffic stop.

Joe got pulled over and blew the clown last night, now he is in the drunk tank.

From the Randall Zwarte' Band's song, Blow the Clown: "Blow the Clown means you're going down." This is a reference to being pulled over during a traffic stop for suspicion of DUI or DWI (Driving Under the Influence).

blowing a clown

To announce something in a public forum (such as facebook) that is shocking and probably untrue for the sake of garnering attention.

"Anne posted on her page that IRS is after her for back taxes and she's going to jail for 15 years--even though she's only 17. That girl is an expert at blowing a clown."

To Blow a Clown

Anything (even loosely) associated with sex and circus. And midgets. And clowns, of course. Interrestingly, the act of "blowing a clown" happens a lot more often than one might think.

Clown 1: Hey Midget Bob! Check out my flower *spurt of semen*

Clown 2: Hee hehe heheh eheheh ehehehe hahah ahahahah ahah

Midget Bob: Harrr... that ain't no flower! It's a penis in disguise!!!
