he ended up blowing someone off when he ditched them to GET blown off
synonyms: to cast aside, to throw aside, to ditch, associated with flakiness
To fully make plans with someone and to purposely not show up when the other person doesn't have anything planned purposely to blow the other person off
I made plans with my friend and he totally just blew me off. Hence the term "blowing someone off"
