In the NYC gay scene (no doubt elsewhere, as well) of the 1960-70s a "blue oyster" was the head of a very aroused penis, especially one that had been teased in various ways without orgasm for a long time. The glans takes on a cyanotic blue cast, probably do to the prolonged erection.
My girlfriend sure loves to eat blue oysters in cream-sauce.

A Blue Oyster is a cocktail. Take a shot (or two, depending on tolerance) of WAVE Blue Raspberry vodka and mix it with a can of Mountain Dew White Out. It goes best while listening to Blue Oyster Cult. It has a baby blue color and is very sweet.
We spent New Year's eve drinking Blue Oysters while listening to Don't Fear the Reaper and Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll.

Cadat Barbara: Is there a party this weekend?
Cadat Mahoney: Yeah. Of course there is. Do you want to come?
Cadat Barbara: No I can't. Ahhh. I just need to know where it is. Sorry to be asking.
Cadat Mahoney: Then why are you asking?
Cadat Barbara: Some people want to know.
Cadat Mahoney: OK. Yeah. It's no big secret. It's at the Blue Oyster Bar on Howell

Excellent New York rock band who have created awesome albums like "Agents Of Fortune", "Fire Of Unknown Origin" and many others. Lead guitar player is the awesome Buck Dharma. Sometimes called the "thinking man's heavy metal band" which I personally think is a bullshit title, as it misrepresents both heavy metal fans, and heavy metal music. Most good heavy metal/hard rock bands create "intelligent" music (early Judas Priest, Black Sabbath etc, and no, I dont consider 80's "hair" metal bands to be representative of what metal stands for). Awesome band nonetheless, and if you dont know they're music, check them out. Listen with an open mind
1. Buck Dharma has a cool website.
2. Eric Bloom is cool
3. Blue Oyster Cult kick serious ass!

A New York rock n' roll band whose greatest singles feature Buck Dharma on vocals (however Eric Bloom is the lead vocalist). Famous for hits such as, "Burnin' For You", "Godzillia", and most well known, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper)".
