Broke hot is when an overweight woman gets dumped for not loosing weight, but then is forced to lose weight as a result from not having her ex boyfriends resources.

Because Jane was inherently lazy and unable to get a job quickly she lost 40lb's having only food stamps to afford her the essentials.
