Country

A type of music genre plagued by wanna be pop fags who make music about the same shit with a fake accent that sounds like they’re trying to do an impression of the same guy. With “artists” like, Luke Bryan, Toby Kieth, Garth Brooks, ect. With a general community also plagued by wannabe fags who dress like retards with their cowboy boots, and sometimes act loud and obnoxious. Take not they should not be confused with real country or outlaw country, which has stars like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, ect.

Generic White Yankee who listens to country: “Oh my god I’m so country, I listen to Luke Bryan because he’s so country.”
Generic White Redneck: “You’re a fag”

Country

Contrast: City suburbia

Not like the city because it's quiet, not like suburbia because you don't feel like you're going to explode due to boredom and utter lack of greenery (lawns not withstanding)

A generally quiet region of the world many people choose to live in due to it's tranquility and closeness with nature. Sometimes refered to as and are actually similar to "the boons" and "the bush" or "the sticks".

A.K.A: Middle of Nowhere.

Canadian prairies do not count, unless you already pre-exist there, at which point you ENJOY the miles and miles of absolute nothing. (see SaskatchewanManitobaAlberta)

A good place to get away from it all. (exception: Saskatchewan)

Good examples include the cottage COUNTRY, north of Toronto or Algonquin park (for camping), also includes areas WAY north of Montreal and BC mountain ranges. Areas between Kingston and Toronto are country, werein people live quiet solitary lives with schools in of only 900 people, from K to gr.12.

What we learn from Suburbs, Country and City is that there IS NO PERFECT PLACE TO LIVE.

Country

1) the opposite of city- pertaining to environment, geography, people, and lifestyle. Country people live in the country, far away from the city, in remote, or rural areas. They are not city slickers. It's odd to find this definition on urban dictionary, although it applies, as people from up north who move or visit the south or Midwest think these places are country, and they are in comparison, not that one is a better lifestyle than the other.

2) a genre of music based on the country lifestyle.

When you're lookin at me, you lookin at country!

Country

Adjective, a way to describe someone. Commonly thought derogatory in nature (ie slow, backward, etc). However, it is actually an enormous compliment. It means easy going, well liked, very respected.

Staff member 1: did you hear who they're sending to our office to work for 3 months?
Staff member 2: yes, Ms. Jenn!! I'm so excited I'm buying a notebook just to write down the brilliant things she says.
Staff member 1: I know! Me too cuz she's so country.

Country

One of the worst music genres ever. It consists of auto tuned cowboy hat and boot donning rednecks with an acoustic, and a shitty backup band behind it all. All the lyrics seem to just spew the definition of stupid, half the songs talk about pickup trucks, tractors, Jesus, and basically everything 50 years behind the modern world found down South. Country back in the western days was really the only form of music available to people living in the open fields, and you really couldn't blame them with what little they had. But when it mixed with some modern technology and went mainstream, it sounded less historic and more dumbass.

We are not what you call over-comers
We are failures each and every one
We’re the kind who will always need a Saviour
The kind who play country dumb
The kind who play country dumb

Last thing we need is broadcasted Jehovahs witnesses.
