Chinese Bonfire

When a large amount of fireworks are placed in a pile and lightly doused with a flammable substance, which is then set on fire. The pile of fireworks burns and blows up instead of being set off by the fuses.

Tim: Hey did you get any fireworks last weekend for the 4th of July?
John: Yeah, and we made that shit into a Chinese bonfire.
