When someone in a company has all of their internal sponsors fired leaving them with no support from upper management.

Damn, John and Richard both got fired, guess I am a corporate orphan now.

Noun: When all the members of your immediate team at work either resign, change roles, or are fired leaving you all by yourself because roles never get backfilled.

Tanner: Ugh, Tom, James, Megan and Joe all left the team. Now I have no team and have to do 5 jobs. I'm such a corporate orphan :(
