Costen

One who is willing to taste, explore, tempt, examine.

From Middle English costnien, from Old English costnian, subsidiary form of Old English costian ("to tempt, try, prove, examine"), from Proto-Germanic kustōnan (“to try, taste”), from Proto-Indo-European *geus- (“to enjoy, taste”). Cognate with German kosten ("to taste").

"Give it to that Costen, he'll try anything"

"I bet he'll do it he's a Costen"
