this is a term used to describe acomplishement in a certain task. mainly achieving something such as kicking ass in a particular event or outing. Or bringing a member of the opposite sex back to your place and gettin the job done.

"i saw emily leavin' your place lastnight...what was all that about?"
"i did work son.."

"yo...that game of beer pong.."
"i know. we did work"
