Literally it stands for "Give me light." in Spanish.
But it is used as another word for klk.
Spanish way of saying :
wat up ?
was good ?
wat cracking ?
e.t.c
"Hola, mi amor. Dame luz. "
"Hey love. Was good ? "

Dame luz literraly means give me light. In Dominican Republic it is slang for
"give me a change" when used in a romatic context or "help me help you" outside of it.
It comes from the fact that the country suffered from frequent brown outs, and getting electricity back would allow you to do something.
So the phrase "dame luz" is a bit of a call for the other persons help in getting something done
Papi dame luz, un ratito a ver si terminamos esto
