Desert Lights

A story told in the Australian outback to mislead tourists and gullible fools into believing the desert has atmospheric phenomenon similar to the higher latitude Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis occurring close to earths magnetic poles. Usually followed by an elaborate story of how they saw them once and if you are lucky and vigilant in observation you may be witness them also.

"Fuck off John, how stupid do you think we are? The desert lights are about as real as your supermodel girlfriend no one has ever met or seen. We don't have time for your bullshit stories today."
