Earning what you have, or implying that you have earned something through what you have endured. Hamm's is a blue collar beer so the saying alludes to coming home to a cold brew after a hard day's work.

"Being a self made man, I've earned my Hamm's." or "I really earned my Hamm's working the help desk at the pro hate speech rally."
