The act of "liking" someone's Facebook status simply because they "liked" yours, even if you don't really like it.
I'm pretty sure that was a Facebook reach-around.

The situation where a reply to a Facebook post receives a "like" from the OP. The OP then posts their own reply to the reply, to which the person being replied to also gives a "like".
Step 1: You post something on Facebook.
Step 2: Someone replies to your post.
Step 3: You "like" said reply and reply yourself.
Step 4: The person you are replying to also "likes your reply.
You have just participated in a Facebook reach-around.
