Fourth Wave

Fourth revival of ska music (the original being in jamaica in the late '60s, second wave or two-tone surfaced in the late '70s, and third wave hit in the late '80s and early '90s).

Many claim that the fourth wave is imminent, ready to appear anytime between now and the early 2010s.

Others claim the 4th wave is already here, heralded by Tomas Kalnoky's band Streetlight Manifesto and side project Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. (There is a streetlight manifesto song titled "riding the fourth wave")

While some people are excited about the fourth wave of ska, others worry that ska is too diluted and growing farther from its roots.

Fourth Wave

A term many ska fans debate about. Some insist that Christian Ska is fourth wave, though musically it is still third wave. Other think fourth wave is heavier, though ska of that type is called Skacore. Most believe fourth wave is being lead by Thomas Kalnoky's Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution. It is a fuller band, similar to Big Band music, though with a more folk-y Eastern European sound. Similar to Gypsy music.
Fourth Wave includes a larger horn section and string section.

BotAR is fourth wave, the next ska wave.

Fourth Wave

The Fourth Wave of Ska comes after Third Wave, Two-Tone and first wave ska. Sometimes called Skash for ska and thrash, but isn't necessarily thrash. This type of ska is defined by bands like Streetlight Manifesto and Big D & The Kid's Table. Difficult to describe, it's like ska/punk/thrash/dub/metal.

Streetlight's 'Riding the Fourth Wave' doesn't sound all that fourth wave.

Still cool anywho.

Fourth Wave Feminist

A special type of feminist portrayed in modern media. They usually appear as pink/purple haired females that would accuse a man of rape for performing CPR. What’s more, unlike the brave 1st, 2nd and 3rd wave feminists ( Mary Wollstonecraft, Soujourner Truth etc.) A Fourth Wave Feminst believes that because my great great grandpa forced my great great grandma to make him sandwiches, women should be given privileges over disgusting hard working men.

Person 1: OMG SHES NOT MOVING, SOMEONE PERFORM CPR QUICK

Person 2: But look! She’s a fourth wave feminist!

Fourth wave

The first wave was novel according to some people, but by the fourth or fifth wave, the media is starting to sound like imbeciles, and so are scientists, helath care workers, government officials, and everybody else trying to warn people over and over again about viruses, restrictions, and mandates.

You wonder if most of the people in their country are as paranoid of the coronavirus as the authoritative voice of the media tells them they are. Are most people thinking about a fourth wave any more than they are thinking about what they would normally think about on a day to day basis? They know life is going to go on no matter what for the ones that make it through every wave.

Fourth wave

The media can't decide if the coronavirus is in it's third or fourth wave.

People have already made it through either 2 or 3 waves, depending on which media source people don't take with a grain of salt, so why should they allow the media to tell them to get paranoid all over again about a fourth wave? Just like anything else people read, warnings should also be questioned and taken with a grain of salt.
