Friend Chameleon

One who develops interests simply to have something in common with someone they want to become friends with.

Max is such a friend chameleon, he used to hate county music!

-A very unreliable friend who flakes at a moments notice, never answers calls, and "blends in" to a group of friends only when it fits his/her needs.

-Acts a different way around each group of friends.

-I haven't seen Joey in like 6 months, and he wont call me back!
-I know! He only hangs out with us when he has absolutely nothing else to do. He's such a friend chameleon.
