Gender Stereotyping

Many:::
\\Men aren't supposed to cry:

Men can cry, it doesn't make them a woman, or the so infamous "pussy". Crying is a form of expression; It's mainly for when someone is sad.//
\\Men are supposed to be tough:

Normally, if a man gets beat up by a woman, many call him a "pussy". Or if a man were to say fall, and show a form of pain(saying "ow" or to complain), he may be called "weak", or a "woman", or even a "pussy".//
\\Women are supposed to be nice and delicate:

This is not so common now(Jersey Shore, possibly YOUR mother). Women don't HAVE to be nice and delicate, though they have to be good-behaving(and so do men). Because, if a woman or a man isn't good-behaving she/he will be detested.//
\\Men start wars:

This is not true... or maybe it is true. Though, George Bush & Adolf Hitler were males who started wars, along with many others, it's not entirely true that men start wars. This is probably because of the so-called male agro hormone, that makes others think of men as war-starters.//
(/:)

Gender Stereotyping is not cool.
If a man cries, don't call him a pussy, a woman, or laugh.
Because it's not funny!

Gender Stereotypes

basically a view where certain roles are expected on girls and boys. for example, young girls are expected to like barbies and ponies, while young boys are expected to like cars and dinosaurs. for clothing, women and girls are expected to wear skirts and dresses, while boys and men are expected to wear pants and trousers. gender stereotypes may affect a childs views.

gender stereotypes look like this:

"lana: broooo I GOT MY ASS WHOPPED BY MY AUNT JUST FOR WEARING PANTS???"

mike: "my friends all called me gay just because i liked barbies and wanted to be in ballet???"

james: "i was slapped by my dad for just wearing a dress!"

isabella: "some girls asked me why do i have a spiderman backpack at school today....."
