in all seriousness, though: grant chapman is an oc (original character) from the illustrious mskingbean89’s fanfic, all the young dudes, which is widely accepted by the harry potter fandom as canon. grant is a favorite of many marauder stans—he won atyd readers’ hearts with his quick wit, charm, and steadfast personality. remus lupin was the love of his life.

The Grant Chapman award is for the character in a love triangle that is obviously NOT the one for the Main Character but they helped the main character during dark or stressfull times.
Jacob deserved The Grant Chapman award after Edward and Bella got together but not after he got with their daughter.
