1. To be extremely slow (i.e. the opposite of fast). 2. To have the effect of slowing down others (i.e. kind of like the opposite of synergy). 3. A boat anchor, an immovable lump of useless mass.

Man we were really groce in that relay we ran last month. Yeah, it was like we were dragging a groce around!
