This refers back to one day when Byron wanted to buy a bright pink scooter, which said Gy Hmo on the side. He "didn't realise* that that was text speak for Gay Homo.

Byron: I'm goign to buy a big pink scooter saying Gy Hmo.
Someone else: You do nknow that says Gay Homo?
Byron: Yeah. And?
