It's currently the fastest growing telecommuncations company in the world, and has surpassed both Nortel and Alcatel-Lucent in market share in continental Europe and Asia.
While Nortel just filed for bankruptcy, Huawei reported record Q4 earnings for 2008.
Huawai is a microcosm of the hardworking attitude and the resultant success of China.

A good phone brand that a lot of people mistaken their products as iPhone rip-offs but they are more, they are actually pretty good for their price with an ok battery making them A pretty well rounded phone.
