The idea that, if someone who has been particularly negatively affected by an experience that he/she went through in their past life, then that person will continue to hold such grudges and anger, and affect other people around them, continuing a never-ending cycle of hate and anger on other people.
Hurt people hurt people, indeed.

When a person has been emotionally hurt they will often get revenge on the person who hurt them, or pass their emotional pain onto someone else who is undeserving of it.
Twin #1 - I would never have thought that you, of all people would do something like this to me. Why?
Twin#2 - All I can say is "I'm sorry, but what comes around goes around. Hurt people hurt people".
