The acid name for dihydrogen monoxide, or more commonly known,h2o. Generally used as a way to trick people.

Person 1: Did you hear about the hydroxylic acid that infected the oceans and lakes?
Person 2: That is terrible!
Person 1: It kills someone in 75-80 years and there is no cure.
