A Hype Lord is a person that collects clothing, shoes, and accessories for the sole purpose of impressing others. A hype lord will buy the most current fashion trends in order to gain popularity. Although the individual may not have the finances to fund their wardrobe they will pretend to make more than everyone around them. A Hype Lord usually spends their earlier years as a hype beast.

Someone who is both a Hypeman and a Hypebeast. They make it a goal to sow hype at whatever event they are called to.

Person 1: “Did you go to David’s party last night?”
Person 2: “Yeah! There was an insane hype lord on the scene.”
Person 1: “Man, that guy was so hype.”

Hype lord - Hypelord

A hypelord has a Goth / Zumiez style along with multiple piercings, usually people who spend most of their time on Dead by Daylight or DayZ.

Hypelords spend their time yearning for online attention (clout).

Tommy: "Have you seen Meredy? Why has he suddenly started smoking so much weed and starting problems with people?"

Mia: "Yeah, he's such a pussy, almost like a hypelord."
