Internet bait is when you say something that is obliviously wrong. The goal afterwards is to get people to try and correct you, as well as tell you how dumb you are.

Person A: Hey do you like Mario Kart?
Person B(Internet Bait): Yeah, i love playing as goku and shooting lazers at robbie rotton

Person A: Are you retarted? None of that is in Mario Kart!
