Miami-based manufacturer of the popular, highpowered, and inexpensive firearm known as "Tec(h) 9" or "Tec(h)"
Officially known as TEC-DC9 (with many variations such as TEC-DC9K and TEC-DC98)
Due to the above criteria (inexpensive, powerful), the Tech 9 (TEC-DC9) is very popular among criminals and gangstas
However, powerful does not mean accurate (meaning that the weapon is high inaccurate, but still cheap enough for a gangsta to acquire

A now defunct gun comapny famous for the creation of the cheap 9mm polymer handgun the TEC-9, and also for their general unreliabilty of their firearms (usually issues with jamming)
They also manufactued TEC-22, a semi-auto handgun that visually resembles the czech/czechoslovak Sa vz. 61 Škorpion machine pistol and is chambered in .22 long rifle calibre
Then they also manufactued the CAT-9 series of pistols, these slightly resembled a glock pistol, they were avilable in 9mm Luger, .45 ACP and .380 ACP
Their other forgotten guns are Protec-25 - a copy of czechoslovakian vz. 45 handgun and TEC-38, a .38 special Derrigner
The company had a bad reputation due to the unreliabily of their firearms and use of their guns by criminals and mass shooters and closed down in 2001 due to bankrupcy
Why do the guns made by Intratec jam so much?
