Name of the fictional highly beloved eccentric but, utterly brilliant detective from the Manga and Anime series "Death Note". His quirkiness tends to allude to his being a person with Asperger 's Syndrome. His popularity may or may not be connected to "Aspies" having a positive role model albeit a tragic one.

L Ryuzaki's love for sweets will kill him with Diabetes if Kira doesn't.
