Lay the Bread

β€œLaying the bread,” often confused with the phrase β€œget the bread,” does not refer to one getting money but one getting or trying to get at someone. People who often lay the bread associate the term with 🍞 or πŸ₯–.

If you see someone trying to get and someone you would say:
β€œLay the bread” or β€œ*name* is Laying the Bread”

Ex. Dom hits on Rosie.
The boys call over to Dom,”Lay the bread.”
