mmm

ICB slang. "mmm <something>" means that <something> is good or desirable. Reminiscent or derivative of Homer Simpson's identical usage.

Contrast with www which is the opposite, mmm turned on its head.

mmm

also 'hmm' or 'mm'.

The perennial 'nothing' phrase, a favourite of 'angsty', 'brooding' types. Developed for situations when one is too lazy to express feeling on the subject matter being discussed. Almost always followed by three dots to give the impression that the user does have something to say, after all, but is too preoccupied with deep thoughts of meaningfulness to do so.

We all use 'mmm' more than we probably should, because the sum total of its meanings is nothing. Mmm...

1) Catch-cry of the unopinionated.
2) Yes.
3) No.
4) Maybe; depends; undecided.

1) (In response to anything) Mmm...
2) Mmm...
3) Mmm...
4) Mmmmmmmmm...
