When you get hungry after smoking weed. Usually people will eat a lot of junk food.
Two kids are getting stoned:
"...and ice cream, and a whole pizza just for me, and some chips, and a soda, and some chocolate...maybe some chinese food, gummy worms, lasagna, rice, ramen, chicken and a hamburger...oh yeah, i almost forgot i wanted some fries with that..."
"Damn...that's some serious munchies you have!"

A odd feeling in your stomach after smoking marijuana. You aren't ACTUALLY hungry, it's just really hard to stop eating. Usually, the person with the high, will come over, smoke, then eat EVERYTHING in your house. Seriously, if there's a burnt pepperoni in your oven, they'll eat it, if there's a perfectly good cookie in the trash, they'll eat it. After this, they'll bust out laughing, say extremely deep things, and fall asleep for about 12 hours. If they're true stoners, they'll wake up and do it again!! Lol.
THE MUNCHIES
Stoner: Got any food?
Friend: Ya, in the fridge.
*Stoner goes and comes back 5 mins later*
Stoner: Thanks
Friend: Whaddya eat?
Stoner: Uhhhhhhhh.....*Giggles*what?
Friend: What did you eat?
Stoner: *Giggles* I love life, the world is like a bag of chips, all shiny and pretty, then you open it and have unlimited happiness.
Friend:.........What the hell did you eat?
Stoner: Uhhhhh.....everything *Giggles*.
Friend: WTF??!

1. The sudden urge to eat junk foods after consuming (either by smoking or ingesting) cannabis/marijuana, usually accompanied by cotton mouth. The effect isn't necessarily hunger, instead the idea of food drifts into the stoner's mind.
2. A popular brand of snack food. Eaten mostly when one has the real munchies after smoking a bowl of dro.

Guy 1: Maaaan, Joe is so pissed at me. He picked up an eighth of some dank last weekend, I passed out for about an hour, then I woke up and ate up everything in his kitchen.
Guy 2: Damn dude, sounds like you had some badass munchies.

Guy 2: So do I dude.
Guy 1: Hey look at that food rack over there. What's in there?
Guy 2: All I can see is that bag of munchies over there.
Guy 1: Let's get some, they look really good.
*Guy 2 begins nearing the rack, he immediately forgets what he was about to do, then procedes to ponder the great mysteries of life in the middle of Bi-Lo*

The magical feeling you receive right after smoking a nice big bowl of weed.
Its the best time to eat when you parents omit to do groceries.
Best food:
Chips & Dip, Doritos, A sandwhich with EVERYTHING on it, Cereal, anything cheesy, chocolate, chocolate covered almonds, trail mix, cashews, yeahhh.
Stoner 1: Man you have no food in your house!
Stoner 2: Sure I do, we just gotta get high.
Stoner 1: TRUE!

Stoner 1: Man, I got the munchies man.
Stoner 2: Me too man.
