Nu Nightcore

Prefix Nu (new) + Nightcore.

It's the new age of Nightcore music. Characterized by a wider variety of subgenres than classic Nightcore, including but not restricted to: metal and subgenres of metal, rock (usually alternative rock and J-Rock) and pop (most often K-Pop and J-Pop), as well as all the genres covered by classic Nightcore.

Nu Nightcore is also characterized by its contrasting happy upbeat music and sad/depressing lyrics.
