OSDM

Old School Death Metal. It's a subgenre of Death Metal that incorporates a more retro approach to the genre, being influenced by bands and releases of previous decades (most commonly the 80s and 90s).

Scott: "Have you heard of the band Afterbirth? They're a good OSDM band."
Evan: "I am not listening to a band called something so gross."
Scott: "It's actually really tame..."
