People that show up to eat your food, drink your booze, smoke your weed, have a good time and then move on to the next party. While the good times roll, they are your best friends, but are no where around to help clean up the mess in the morning. A true friend will call you a dumb fuck, and try to help you deal with the mess your in, a party friend doesn't know you.
A party friend will borrow money from you, but never loan you any, it's rare if he ever pays you back.

A get-together held by really cool people with names like Sam and Sarah and Lunden and Frannie that is like a family reunion for people who aren't related. Lots of fun.
Sarah: Hey, Lundens going to be in town for the weekend. We should have a best friends party.
Sam: Great idea! Be sure to invite Frannie too. As many people should come as possible!
