A modern version of "Take this job and shove it!!". A perpetrater gets utterly fed up with his or her job and quits in a spectacular style.

Flight attendant Steve: These passengers are barbaric, I can't take it anymore!

Flight attendant Sarah: What are you going to do?

Flight attendant Steve: I'm outta here. I'm going to grab two beers, POP A SLIDE, and run off across the taxiway.

A quick exit out of an awful situation. Name received from Steven Slater, a Jetblue flight attendant who, after being abused by a passenger, berated her over the PA system, took two beers, activated the inflatable slide, and exited the plane.
