Population Crush

Common in the LGBT+ community; this term refers to an individual having a crush on a person solely (whether the individual realizes it or not) because there are very little/no people in their area whom are gay/bisexual/pansexual etc.

"Alice has a total population crush on Nicole. She's not her type -- the have nothing in common besides that they are both gay. "
