A very small and wealthy town in New Hampshire located right on the coast, close to Portsmouth and New Castle. Only about 5,000 people live there and about 1,000 only live there during the summer. All the kids (and even some adults) have wardrobes full of Abercrombie, American Eagle, Polo etc. Although it's a rich community, the town spends nothing on their schools. It's also a basically all-white community.
Only in Rye will you find a 10 year old with his own credit card, decked out in Polo.

A nice town that is full of rich fucks (Only in the summer because a lot of famous people have houses there.) The kids there think they're so gangsta and crap like that. They don't have a high school so they go to Portsmouth High School which would be an awesome school if rye didn't go there. They think everything they do is right and they talk about how rich they are when no one gives a flying fuck and they really can't even afford a house payment then end up living in the gosling ghettos or wamaset. So pretty much all I am trying to say is the place sucks.
Rye, NH
Kid from Rye: Let's go to rye beach
Portsmouth Kid: Nah, Hampton is better.
Rye Kid: Fuck you
(This is how they act like, Major Douchebags)

A small town in New Hampshire, known only for its beaches. Boarders two major towns/cities Hampton Beach and Portsmouth. About an hour away from Boston by car. Almost everyone in the town is a MILLIONAIRE and spoils their kids stupidly. Kids that grow up there think they live in Laguna Beach, (like the TV show). Rye is so small it doesn't have a high school, so the majority of the kids go to Private school or Portsmouth High School, where most are introduced to drugs and alcohol. If you're from the Rye area you usually end up going to UNH and become an alcoholic, and somehow land a big job after college and make as much money as your parents. Also almost everyone is a member at a yacht club or a country club like the Wentworth by the Sea or Abanaqui.
"Oh you're from RYE, NH?"
"Yeah."
"So you're rich, right?"
"No, my family only has one mansion and 6 cars"
"I was swimming at the Wentworth pool"
"Oh, so you pay $30,000 a year to swim in a pool when the beach is 2 minutes away?"
