An incident or crime that the media jumps on and inflates the importance of to fit their narrative. (usually along racial lines) Opposite of a hushcrime.

Duke LaCrosse "rape" case (fake) was a SHOUTCRIME!. Cleveland, Texas rape case (real) was a hushcrime.
