On large college campuses: the space of approximately an hour around 3:00pm. During this time, the lonely, antisocial recluses emerge from hiding to eat lunch, for this is when the dining hall is emptiest (and therefore the least likelihood of making human contact): most people have already eaten lunch, but are not yet ready for supper. It is during this time that one will find the highest percentage of people dining alone. Diners during this time can often be found staring blankly into their phone or off into space as they contemplate their existence.
What if all the lonely people eating at sad hour got together...

Big sad hour is a phrase used to show one's sorrow for someone else enduring a tough time. Usually it is not used for deaths or injury related events, but minor inconveniences in one's day-to-day life.

The time of day, between 2am - 5am, that niggas (females + males included, or whatever the fuck you is) reflect on their mistakes and / or feelings, sometimes about someone or something hurtful. Your thoughts or feelings can usually keep you up, or sometimes you can just drift into being unhappy and remain that way until you get up.

On social media platforms between the hours of 1am and 5am, users who view, like, and post content (especially memes) are taking part in sad nibba hours. The phrase "sad nibba hours" presumably was coined in reference to people with depressive disorders who stay up late into the night, looking at memes and suppressing the excruciating pain of reality.
When my friends Sarah and Haras went to the club without me, I stayed up long into sad nibba hours, staring at memes and wiping away the tears of my existence with a Gucci handkerchief.
