Sheet Metal

This was heavy metal music from the late 80's to the early 90's that was neither heavy, nor really even metal. When it was listened to by men, it was used primarily as an attempt to bring a girl home (and, presumably, into the sheets).

Sheet Metal tapes and CD's were often stashed in the glove compartment when on the road, or in the socks and underwear drawer while at home, and the possession of them was never willingly admitted to fellow dudes.

Examples include Poison, Bon Jovi, Faster Pussycat, Steelheart, et al...

It was always a good plan to keep at least one Sheet Metal tape in the glove box on weekends...you know, just in case.

sheet metal worker

Trade far superior to all other construction trades. The only craftsman who makes what they install.. duct work. While they may be the loudest on the site, they will tell you to get fucked if you complain. Usually heavy drinkers, with a bad attitude. Huge dicks. Will sneak away with your wife at the local neighborhood christmas party.

Damn. You see those sheet metal workers? I cant tell if thats the tool belt or the tool itself

That sheet metal worker is a bad ass, you greenhorns better steer clear of him

Union Sheet metal worker

A person who has mastered the art of metal wizardry, can make miracles happen. Has the ability to make roofer mistakes disappear (AKA professional turd polisher). Also the only trade to make what they install, duct. Does the work right the first time. Welders are far Superior to pipe fitters (suck it).

Hey Jeff, i hired a few union sheet metal workers to hang the duct at the new building.

That's great Todd, i wouldn't want to freeze my ass off this winter because i hired someone else who didn't know what they were doing.

does the tin man have a sheet metal cock?

A phrase used by Bubbles on the popular Canadian tv series Trailer Park Boys, used as a smart-ass reply when someone asks something to which the answer is yes.

Randy: Does it really launch? (referring to a model rocket)
Bubbles: Does it really launch?! Does the tin man have a sheet metal cock?
