Sodium Thioglycolate

Sodium Thioglycolate is a chemical used in some hair products and also in the intermediate of the synthesis of Modafinil, Adrafinil, and N-Methyl-Modafinil. Sodium Thioglycolate is synthesized from Thioglycolic acid and sodium hydroxide and then you boil it and then let it dry in a vacuum chamber to eliminate water.
