Less about wealth (though it helps) and more about making good choices.
- ordering an Uber to your devil dick appointment instead of taking public transport.
- Cancelling/rejecting plans with problematic friends & family members

Can either refer to a lifestyle or a period in your life where you're generally (but not entirely) stress-free and have minimal obligations to meet. Often involves engaging in healthy routines, hobbies and personal passions.
When you live the soft life, you're at the top of the Maslow's hierarchy of needs pyramid, which can either be the result of being affluent or under special circumstances that allows one to flourish (see example below).
I was living the soft life back in 2020 and 2021. While covid was a major stressor to many people's lives, the combination of remote schooling + lighter course load + job layoffs + gov't money (e.g. stimulus checks, CERB) resulted in a relatively stress-free lifestyle, where I could concentrate more on my passions (music & photography) and less on studying or working. Minute stressors still existed, but in the grand scheme of things, it was a calm and carefree life that lasted for two years.

Protects their peace. Does yoga, Pilates, spin, meditates, or any form of soft girl exercise because their health is a priority. They eat healthy foods and prefer whole raw, natural ingredients like fruits and vegetables. Prefers to look well kept and put together. Prioritizes a more luxury esthetic like name brands or authentic fine jewelry. Will not engage in drama or harmful relationships of any kind ie workplace, romance or friendship. Travels for self care and experiences.
