Standing water

A popular term amongst non-swimming youths which refers to large bodies of water in which one can touch the ground.

Person A: Geee it's hot today, I'd love to go for a dip!

Person B: You said something about a canal earlier, why don't we go freshen up there?

Person A: Nah man, it's not standing water ...
